Definition:
Xylanase comprises enzymes (e.g., β-1,4-endoxylanase, β-xylosidase, α-L-arabinofuranosidase) that hydrolyze xylan polymers into xylose and oligosaccharides by cleaving glycosidic bonds.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
Light brown to light yellow powder/ Liquid. Color may vary from batch to batch. Color intensity is not an indication of enzyme activity.
Degrades non-starch polysaccharides (NSPs) in feed, reducing gut viscosity and anti-nutritional effects.
Enhances nutrient absorption by breaking down plant cell walls.
Applications:
** Industrial: Pulp processing (paper), baking, brewing, textile, fruit juice extraction.
** Feed: Improves digestibility and utilization of feed nutrients.
** Functional Sugars: Production of xylooligosaccharides (XOS).
** Baking: Either added into flour to produce specialty flour for bread or steamed bun, mixed with other ingredients to make improver, or added during baking to improve dough handling properties, volume , and crumb structure.
** Brewing: Added in mashing to reduce wort viscosity and ease filtration.
