Pancreatin is powdered enzyme preparation coming from pancreas of animal by extraction, purification and formulation.With the main activity of trypsin, it also contains lipase and amylase. Within appropriate pH range, pancreatin hydrolyzes proteins into products like short peptides and amino acids.
